Sydney International Tall Ship     Festival 2013

Talk about pushing my camera to the limit. On Saturday we all ventured in to the city to view a tall ship or two followed by fireworks. The Sydney International Tall Ship Festival is in town – not something one gets to see too often in a lifetime. The ships were... well... tall, and full of character and charm... much like the little Miss Good Ship Lollipop in the photos. The sky was a brilliant blue, with just the right amount of scattered cloud for dramatic photography and the city shone under the glorious sun. It was definitely a day for a nautical get up, pretty lassies and an ice cold beverage or two. Both f/5.6 and f/11 got a good workout... as did our legs and ears! Enjoy!

Great shots! You really made the most of the clouds too.
